1.5 - 2hr. long poses. I didn’t get to finish putting in some values since time ran out, but at least the proportions and angles are right. I can always go back later to finish the shading in the 4 values. xD
Plein Air Paintings. :) Cal tech and El Matador State Beach. ^_^
If you are wondering I used acrylics.
Plein Air painting I did at the arboretum. 6 x 8
It was a challenge since I’ve never painted outdoors before… @_@;; This was after a couple of weeks of practice. Challenges are a lot of fun… haha. It was done using acrylics, I know, I wish I had oil paints because my paint kept drying out and I had to keep remixing my colors in the hot weather. I think I need to invest in a spray bottle to keep my acrylics wet since the retarder for it doesn’t really help much either or wet towel underneath…. :(
I have tons of acrylics that I just need to use up before investing money in other types of mediums. I just have to keep practicing. :)
I need to post up more artwork I’ve been lacking. Just been busy… @_@;; hehe

We went to the Nethercutt Museum Collection to shift from drawing organics to something mechanical.
Never drew cars before so it was a big challenge for me to go from something organic to something more mechanical. @_@ Just a few of my drawings will post up more later. There are certainly things on there I need to work on besides my line quality, which will come with time. Just need to keep practicing. Drawings cars was actually a lot of fun… haha. :) Who knew… drawn with pen.
